Design for 2012   for KS3

Design and make a meal based on the traditional fare of east end pie and mash shops to be served to athletes  in the London 2012 Olympic Village. Pies were the first fast foods sold to London's working classes and date back as far as 1600. Take the orginal format and come up with a modern twist to help celebrate the traditions of the area where the 2012 Olympics will be held. This resource challenges pupils to use their cooking skills alongside maths, creative writing and ITC capabilities to successfully complete this activity.
