Registering on the Active Kids Get Cooking Scheme
Q. What happens if I cannot find my school on the drop down list ?
A. You must search for your school using your postcode which is a combination of letters and numbers, make sure you enter these correctly. If you cannot find your school then email us with your details from the ‘contact us’ menu.
Q. I have just registered but my username and password are not recognised.
A.You must leave the website and then enter by typing website address again. www.activekidsgetcooking.org.uk
Q. I did not receive my log in details and teachers guide by email. What should I do ?
A. Are you sure you registered with a valid personal email address? Some people have registered with their school email address ( e.g. office@zebraprimary.co.uk ). If you did register with your school email address it may simply be that the admin team didn't know who to forward the email to. You can download the teachers guides by going to ‘order certificates’ menu.
Q. How do I update my details ?
A. Go to the login page by clicking on ‘order certificates’ menu or ‘member login’ and enter your details. You will be given an opportunity to edit them here. Keep a record of your new details.
Q. I cannot remember my log in details how can I retrieve them ?
A. No problem ! Follow the instructions above and ask to be sent a reminder of your login in name and password (you will need to know your email address for this)
Q. We are a special school. Can we use the primary challenges with our secondary age pupils ?
A. Yes, you can. Use them to meet the ability of your students and order certificates to award their hard work. There will be an annual special challenge with a category for special schools.
Q. We are a middle school can we use the primary challenges ?
A. Yes, you can. Your school should be on our database please go ahead and register.
Q. I work with school age pupils but our organisation is not a school. Can we still use the resource ?
A. Yes you can, but you will still need to register with us. First email us the full name, address & postcode of your organisation. Once you have had confirmation you can register as normal.
Q. Our school is overseas and we follow the National Curriculum. Can we register with the scheme ?
A. Yes, you can. First email us the full name, address & postcode of your school. Once you have had confirmation you can register as normal
Q. When I click to order certificates the screen that opens is blank what should I do ?
A. Some users have found that when they enter the certificate ordering screen it appears blank. Maximise the screen you should now see the information.
Q. I want to order my certificates in class sets is this ok ?
A. Yes you can do this - order one class at a time if you want.
